Healthy BabyBumps project run by Tropical Public Health Services
Women in the Torres Strait, Cape York and Northern Peninsula Area will soon have extra support to learn about the risks of Sexually Transmissible Infections (STIs) in pregnancy.
Tropical Public Health Services (Cairns) runs Healthy BabyBumps. They are working with other health services to share the project across the Torres and Cape Hospital and Health Service.
The project will empower woman. It will teach them about pregnancy-related health and why they should get antenatal care.
