The Torres and Cape Hospital and Health Board met on 3 December 2025, on Thursday Island.
Our Board Chair, Renee Williams chaired the meeting with 5 board members in attendance.
The board received updates from its standing committees that met during the reporting period. These included reports from the following committees:
- the Board Audit and Risk Committee
- the Board Finance and Performance Committee.
The board also received the Health Service Chief Executive’s Board Report, which gave an update on key operational, strategic and performance matters across the health service. The board noted the 2025 Working for Queensland Survey Results.
During the meeting, the board approved the Torres and Cape Hospital and Health Service Strategic Asset Management Plan, and also the Health Equity Strategy and Implementation Plan 2025-2028.
