The Torres and Cape Hospital and Health Board met on 7 May 2026. The meeting was chaired by Board Chair, Renee Williams, and attended by 7 board members.
The board received updates from its standing committees that met during the reporting period, including reports from the Board Safety and Quality Committee, the Board Executive Committee, and the Board Finance and Performance Committee.
The board also received the Health Service Chief Executive’s Board Report, which provided an update on key operational, strategic and performance matters across the health service.
During the meeting, the board approved the Torres and Cape Hospital and Health Service (TCHHS) Internal Audit Charter and Protocol, the First Nations Health Worker Workforce Management Audit and the Child Safe Organisations Implementation Plan.
