The Torres and Cape Hospital and Health Board met on 6 November 2025.
Our Board Chair, Renee Williams chaired the meeting with 5 board members in attendance.
The board received updates from its standing committees that met during the reporting period. These included reports from the following committees:
- the Board Safety and Quality Committee
- the Board Executive Committee
- the Board Finance and Performance Committee.
The board also noted the Health Service Chief Executive’s Board Report, which gave an update on key operational, strategic and performance matters across the health service.
Board activities
During October 2025, board members participated in a number of key meetings and engagements including the meeting with the Weipa Town Authority.
