The Torres and Cape Hospital and Health Board met on 2 October 2025, in Weipa.
Our Board Chair, Renee Williams chaired the meeting with 5 board members in attendance.
The board received updates from its standing committees that met during the reporting period. These included reports from the Board Finance and Performance Committee.
The board also noted the Health Service Chief Executive’s Board Report, which gave an update on key operational, strategic and performance matters across the health service.
During the meeting, the Board noted the Torres and Cape Hospital and Health Service Asset Management Strategy.

During September 2025, board members participated in a number of key meetings and engagements including the TCHHS Consumer Advisory Committee meeting.
