The Torres and Cape Hospital and Health Board met on 4 September 2025.
Our Deputy Board Chair, Jason Ramsamy chaired the meeting with 3 board members in attendance.
The board received updates from its standing committees that met during the reporting period. These included reports from the following committees:
- Board Safety and Quality Committee
- Board Audit and Risk Committee
- Board Finance and Performance Committee.
The board also noted the Health Service Chief Executive’s Board Report, which gave an update on key operational, strategic and performance matters across the health service.
During the meeting, the board received a presentation on Child Safe Organisations.

- Hospital and Health Board Chairs’ Forum
- Queensland Hospital and Health Board Finance and Audit Committee meeting.
